Scientists know that stress, radiation, infection, inflammation, and diet affect our health and longevity. All diseases start at the cellular level with chronic low-level inflammation. Antioxidants do a decent job of controlling the exponential spread of free radical damage, but sometimes we do not cooperate with our lifestyle choices.

    1. Caffeine has a triggering effect on autophagy also. I chose to leave it out of this article. There were many other things that could have been added. Thanks for commenting. I really appreciated it.
