When numbers are not valid, what conclusions can be drawn?

Did a person die as a direct result of COVID-19 or did that person die of another disease and were also infected with the virus? We will never know how many people died as a direct result of SARS-CoV-2.

Lies & Statistics

Mark Twain is credited with the statement, “There are three different kinds of lies: lies, damn lies, and statistics.” He attributed it to the British prime minister, Benjamin Disraeli. However, that statement could never be found in Disraeli’s archives. Did Disraeli, Twain, or others coin the phrase? We will never know.

The statistics covering coronavirus deaths have been murky on a clear day. Nonetheless, statistics are chosen to be persuasive and in the case of pandemic deaths, to strengthen and reinforce numbers that might not be compelling on their own.

Death Reporting

https://www.oann.com/cdc-says-msm-who-misinterpreting-covid-19-data/ There are known cases where a person was shot, later died, and listed as a COVID-19 death. That individual data point on death should never have been listed as a coronavirus death, but it was. Deaths from and related to COVID-19 are a jumbled mess. No one knows the exact numbers of citizens who died as a direct result of COVID-19.

The World Health Organization never differentiated clearly enough to designate deaths as coronavirus-caused or coronavirus-related. As such, there are many coronavirus deaths that are lumped together giving a false sense of the severity of COVID-19. The CDC is supposed to follow the WHO guidelines when reporting deaths. They use the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, 10th Edition (ICD-19)

Initially, the WHO created two categories for coronavirus deaths. UO7.1 is the category for coronavirus-caused deaths. UO7.2 is the designation for coronavirus-related deaths in which the cause of death could not be reliably defined as coronavirus-caused. This sounds clear and straight forward. You die directly resulting from the virus and your death is put into the UO7.1 pot. If you die of a gunshot wound, car accident, pneumonia, stroke, or another malady and you happen to also have tested positive for coronavirus, then UO7.2 is to be used.

The American Academy of Family Physicians alerted the public that the CDC uses a single category, UO7.1, for all coronavirus-caused and coronavirus-related deaths. Physicians had no choice but to label a person who died of cancer who also tested positive for coronavirus as a COVID-19 death.
As the public was asking questions to clarify the distinction surrounding the mounting death toll caused by COVID-19, there was no way to separate the true COVID-19 deaths from the suicide of a person who tested positive for coronavirus. The CDC’s Vital Statistics Reporting Guidance Report was of no help to physicians to classify a death known to be something other than a direct result of COVID-19.

As a result of the confusion surrounding the coronavirus-caused and coronavirus-related deaths, the CDC established a new category, PIC. Pneumonia, Influenza, and Coronavirus are lumped into a single group. Over 400,000 deaths are lumped into the PIC category. Just under 290,000 deaths were identified as coronavirus caused.

The same day that the CDC clarified the figure of 288,287 coronavirus-caused deaths, different media reported 323,002, 323,012, and 322,765. Worldometers.com reported 327,442 for the same day. (https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/) Nearly a quarter of the total deaths are recognized by the CDC as not being directly caused by coronavirus. 288,287 represent nearly 25% less than the reported total of over 400,000

Conclusion

COVID-19 statistics are unreliable in all categories except hospitalizations and ICU usage. Patients have symptoms severe enough to warrant care in a medical facility and those numbers are easy to find in most states.

Testing numbers have a validity issue with whether the test was a false-positive or a false-negative. PCR testing was never intended to assess viral diseases. Yet, we rely on it daily to test people. Maybe that is part of the numbers game when ‘confirmed new cases’ of COVID-19 have little to no effect on hospitalizations or daily deaths compared to several months ago when testing was not readily available.

The CDC and WHO databases are lies about the true numbers of coronavirus-caused deaths. They are damn lies when the media picks and chooses the numbers they want the public to see. They are statistics because they are bolstering the impression that COVID-19 is a more serious disease than it is.

I am not saying that people should give up hand washing, face masks, and social distancing. I am saying that decisions are made on worst-case scenario statistics that might not be made if the real numbers of deaths caused by coronavirus were known.
