Fatigue has many causes.

Overloading the leptin response is one problem caused by excess toxicity in your body. Toxins can directly attack your brain by causing the release of cytokines. Cytokines are basically intercellular signaling molecules.

The cytokines released by toxins damage the leptin receptors in your brain. Overloading a leptin receptor so that it doesn’t respond is one problem. Damaging a receptor is another, and it can lead to some very serious health problems.

Your hypothalamus makes a hormone called MSH (Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone). When your leptin receptors are burned out or overloaded – or, when they are damaged, then you cannot make MSH. Your brain cannot interpret the signals from your body telling it that it needs MSH.

MSH is a regulatory hormone. It controls the storage of fatty acids, your nerve function and the production of hormones, melatonin, and endorphins. It also modulates your immune system. A deficiency in MSH causes chronic fatigue, pain, and non-restful sleep.

It enhances pain – makes it feel worse than it is. It makes you thirsty all the time and causes increased urination. MSH is involved in many protective processes in your body, especially your mucous membranes, your skin and your lungs. It also controls your pituitary function.

The production of MSH in your hypothalamus is very small. It is extremely difficult to isolate treatment in this area. Doctors don’t measure MSH levels. MSH deficiency is not something that is normally flagged as a cause of health problems. But it is real.

Doctors can chase symptoms for months and not find the real cause of your problems. Medications treat the symptoms, but they cannot fix your problem. Once permanent damage is done, then you can look forward to a lifetime in a never-ending spiral of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Toxins can create a world of hurt for you. Not only will they prevent you from losing weight, they will make your life a living hell if you allow them to accumulate over your life. It is best to flush them from your body regularly, rather than allow them to do permanent damage.

You are subject to depression, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and other debilitating diseases any time you have hormonal cascading events in your body. Toxic chemicals are only one cause of cascading hormonal events.
